Interior
All types of interior painting around the house including walls, trim, frames, doors, stipple ceiling, cupboards, spindles, closets, basement floor etc. All surfaces are given two coats of paint and primed when required. Proper preparation includes patching, scraping, sanding etc.
Exterior
Calgary has a dry climate and surfaces must be maintained to protect. We offer exterior painting or stain for wood, stucco and brick siding, frames, doors, soffit, facia, eavestroughs, fence, deck, deck railing, patio furniture, etc. All surfaces are given two coats of paint or stain and primed when required. Includes power wash, scraping, sanding , cracks filled, fence & deck repair etc.
Wallpaper Removal
Completely removes old wallpaper from walls. Includes complete removal of the glue and paper. Walls are then properly prepared (sanding, patching, wall repair etc).
Power Wash
You can power wash many different surfaces around the house. Clean and brighten vinyl siding, concrete, brick, stucco, wood , fence, deck and deck railing etc. We use a special cleaning solution which cleans deep down into the surface. This is a must for preparing surfaces for painting. If you plan on doing the fence yourself you can power wash it first.
Stipple Ceiling
Your stipple ceiling can be repaired (holes patched, move light fixtures, water damage). We can re stipple if required. Then we re-paint with two coats of paint. A painted ceiling can really brighten up a house, especially when the walls have been re-painted.
Renovations
Emerald Coatings is not only a painting contractor, we also do small carpentry work around the house. Inside we repair or move walls, install french doors, move light fixtures or fans. Outside we can build or fix a deck, fence, house trim etc.
Wood Laquer
Restore wood with laquer. Good for oak stair railings and spindles, furniture, fireplace mantles, cabinets etc. Gives the wood a beautiful finish.
Epoxy Floor
Epoxy can be used on concrete floor surfaces. This works well on the basement floor, garage floor, deck, patio and car ports. Two coats of epoxy and a sealer are then applied giving the floor a long lasting durable finish.
Baseboards
Baseboards can be repaired or replaced. We can also install crown mouldings.
Decorative
We do the smooshing process, a decorative technique which gives walls a unique textured patterened look. You may use 2 to 3 colors depending on the effect you would like to create. Sample photos available.
